Mr S C Gupta

Mr S C Gupta had a consistently brilliant academic career. In 1965, he did his postgraduation in Physics from Agra University. He was formerly Head of the Physics Department, S D College, Panipat (Haryana). He retired as Principal from the same college. Mr Gupta was a member of the Academic Council of Kurukshetra University for three consecutive terms. He was also a member of Kurukshetra University Court for two terms. He was also a member of the Board of Studies in Physics & Science Faculty of the same university. As a member of Subject Committee (Physics), he was associated with the Board of School Education, Haryana.

Mr Gupta has authored many books in Physics for CBSE, ICSE and various state boards.

Mr Gupta has delivered a number of Lectures to school teachers of Haryana on different topics like Evaluation of Examination Answer Sheets, Setting of Examination Papers, Maintenance of Science Laboratory, Role of Computer in Science Education, etc. He has given a number of talks on various Scientific Topics in Hindi on All India Radio from Rohtak. As Principal, he has attended a number of Workshops/Seminars conducted by UGC and NCERT. He has been a Resource Person at various Science Workshops conducted for School Teachers in many states.
